When we wash our faces, we’re following routine maintenance for basic cleanliness.
Some of us use soap and water. Some of us develop a routine which employs all sorts of products, and some of us use abrasive fabrics to scrub away dead skin cells.
All of these are tried and true methods of effective washing.
However, …
When you want a deeper clean…
When you want to purge your face of anything that has been hidden under surface…
When you refuse to let any trapped bacteria go unchecked…
What do you do?
You apply heat.
When you thoroughly steam your face before washing it, you expose hidden dirt, clogged pores, excess oil pockets, and bacteria from wherever they have been unnoticeably positioned for quite some time.
But notice this…
when you steam your face…everything gets addressed—not just one part of your face and not just one specific problem area.
Everything that is on your face will be exposed to that heat.
I have been called to talk to you today, O’ Chosen One, to lend you some clarity about what you’ve been facing.
As the generational curse breaker of the bloodlines you were born into, there are some things I need you to understand.
There is a reason that you are battling more than one challenge at a time.
There is a reason for you feeling like all of your faults and flaws are coming to surface and you may be questioning your deliverance from anything.
There is a reason you feel the overwhelming weight of multiple trials coming at you ever since you’ve prayed for deliverance.
The heat that is being applied to your life is evidence of DIVINE PURGING.
And your Divine Purging is required for your PERMANENT DELIVERANCE from generational curses and into the promised freedom of Christ.

Trust me, I had no idea until I knew.
When God seeks to grant you breakthrough, you must first be purified and purged of corruption.
Malachi 3:2-3 tells us this, “…For He is like a refiner’s fire. And like launderer’s soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.”
After you fully surrender and when you answer the call to break generational curses in your bloodline so that He may use you for His Divine Will and for the Purpose of His Kingdom’s advancement…
Every hindering thing must be addressed and neutralized.
It’s an ‘everything must go sale’ all through your life.
And when you’re truly this |__| close to a new level or life-changing breakthrough…?

Multiple flaws, faults, comforts, unproductive habits, lies, insecurities, corrupt thought patterns, familiar spirits, and generational tendencies could be exposed, addressed, and fought against within what feels like a short space of time.
Now our God is a God of wisdom.
So, He knows when to turn down the heat and when to turn it back up again.
He knows which parts of you and any unproductive ways need to be addressed now, and which ones to reserve for a later part in your process.
But no matter what, you can trust this…
He knows exactly how to adjust the settings to ensure the most desirable product at the end of his cooking. (See Faith is the Protagonist for more)
So, at level 50, you could handle financial burden as the Lord taught you how to survive with less so that you may be able to prosper with more.
But at level 75? Ooh no, love. Your love of comfort, procrastination and laziness all have to go at one time.
And yes, you can handle the heat required to purge them out of your life…by His Grace and through your faith.
You see…
Generational curses and familiar spirits are sustained in a bloodline by works of iniquity, or the practice of gross wickedness.
Which means in order for you and your household to be permanently delivered, the ways in which you consistently or routinely entertain sin, or the infiltration of satanic spirits must all be addressed.
They all have to go.
They must all undergo the Divine Purging process.
In this way, there will be nothing in your life granting these spirits legal rights to stay.
They must go. The covenants which kept them in agreement with you must be denounced and renounced. The planted seeds must be burnt out by Holy Ghost Fire. All wicked practices and rituals must be rendered ineffective. Strongholds loosened. Stolen property recovered. Spiritual spouses divorced.
The whole kit and kaboodle
The whole enchilada
All of it must be divinely assessed and addressed to ensure you walk in the freedom Christ has for you.
So, to circle back.
This is why you’re feeling overwhelmed.
This is why you feel as if you’re trying to grasp for air.
This is why it may feel as if you’re going backward instead of forward.
You are in the middle of Divine Purging.
But know this, sometimes the battle is evidence of the process.
Have you ever heard, “if it burns, that means it’s working?”
Okay. Same thing.
You know you’re a target being fought for when there’s physical evidence of this war. But since God is the one conducting this process, you only have two basic instructions:
listen for when to fight through prayer and worship…
…and listen for when to be still as you devour His Word.
That is it.
You are going to get through this.
God knows what He is doing even when we do not understand.
And dare I say, especially when we do not understand.
Hold on to this and reflect on this.

Holy Spirit, I thank You for this Word today. Please let it meet the eyes of every person who needs to hear this so that they may be encouraged to move forward and lead others to you with Love. We love You, Lord, and we thank You. In Jesus’ Name to the Glory of the Father, we thank You. Amen.
